Challenge Descripcion

Do you want to become an active student in your community? Are the environmental issues a concern to you? This challenging league is the opportunity to share those ideas you've been carrying in your eager mind!

Work in groups of 4 - 5 students and create an original product made out of reused materials that would be helpful in any school or house chore. Write a short 250 words long descriptive paragraph using font Arial size 12 and 1.5 line spacing, in which you describe the product and how it's used. Present your product in a Power Point or Prezi presentation, 10 slides long in which you show photographs of your team using the product in different school and house scenarios. Add a short creative sentence to each photograph describing the image.

The teams that will be chosen to take part in the final stage of the competition in a live Q & A session will be assessed on:

  • Creativity
  • Conviction in your ideas
  • Use of language

Evaluation Requirements

Teams must be made up of 4 - 5 upper elementary students, the students can be from different schools, and must have an adult coach (he/she can be a member of your family, friend or teacher). The product, written description and presentation must be an original and own creation.


Every team must complete a registration form in order to start the inscription process, which can be found in The inscription process starts January 1, 2014.
