HOW IT WORKS.
SMART ENGLISH offers lessons according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), which is one of the most commonly used rubrics for assigning proficiency levels to language learners. The proficiency levels can be equated to:

A1 = beginner

C2 = advanced
Students start with our placement test, to generate the student´s Gap Analysis and Individual Learning Plan. The test is comprised of the following sections: grammar, listening, speaking, reading and writing.
SMART ENGLISH covers Grammar, Idioms, Listening, Speaking, Vocabulary, Reading, Business English, Functional Language, IELTS prep and TOEFL prep. The lessons are designed to be adaptive meaning and they can be adjusted to the students’ needs, using the canvas tool. The ESL lessons are bright and image-heavy and are designed to get students engaged.
